I approach all writing as creative writing. Along with course work in the physical sciences, I studied writing throughout my undergraduate career. I focused on technical writing in graduate school and began my professional work as a proposal writer for the USU Space Dynamics Laboratory.

I have been published in several book and magazines. Here are some examples of my writing:



Proposal Writing

Canyonlands-UT3 I've written proposals for industry and academe. All proposals seek to make a compelling argument, written to exacting specifications under tight deadlines. Proposal writing is demanding, exhausting, and a great deal of fun.

Technical Documents and Policies

Red-Butte-Garden-UT2 I seem to become the default writer wherever I work. Following Hurricane Katrina, I was tasked with writing policies on departmental security, business continuity, and disaster recovery. I've written service level agreements, policies, project plans, software specs, budgets, and more.
